7th Grade Immunizations
Students entering 7th grade are now required to have one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine and one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine for individuals who have not already received those vaccines.
Please contact your health care provider or local health department if your child needs these vaccines. For additional information about the vaccines and diseases they protect against visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's website at www.cdc.gov/vaccines/who/teens/index.html.
You will have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date immunization record for your child. If proof of vaccination is not provided by the end of the 30 day period, your child will be suspended from school until they provide proof of immunization as required by law.
Please remember you will need to provide proof of immunization (i.e., Certificate of Immunization [shot record]) on the first day of school).
